Terms
Last updated September 8, 2026
These terms cover your use of Bite. Using the app means you accept them. If you do not, do not use it.
01What Bite is
You connect a card, and we look at it for what you spend on food with the places on our menu. When we find one, we credit you with tokenised stock of that company. Bite is not a broker, a bank, or an exchange, and nothing in the app is investment advice.
02Who can use it
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and the card you connect must be your own. The list of countries we serve can change.
03Your wallet
Stock is paid to a wallet you control. We never hold your keys and cannot move, freeze, or recover what is in it. If you lose access to the wallet, we cannot restore what was paid there.
04The card you connect
We read the charges on it, and only the food ones from places on the menu reach us as a match. You can disconnect a card at any time; matches already paid are not undone. We may reject a charge that is a duplicate, a refund, or one we have reason to believe is not yours.
05What you are paid in
You are paid in fractions of a share, priced at the market when the charge is matched. A $14.20 Chipotle order at 5% buys about seventy-one cents of CMG, which is roughly seven thousandths of a share. Small amounts are normal and they accumulate. The rate a company pays, and the menu itself, can change at any time; a change applies to charges matched after it.
06What we do not promise
Tokens track the price of a share and that price moves in both directions. We do not promise any value, any return, or that a particular company stays on the menu.
07Ending it
You can stop using Bite whenever you like; what has already been paid to your wallet stays yours. We can close an account that abuses the matching process, and we can stop the service.
08Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed.
